How many treatments of EMsculpt do I need?
The amount of treatments needed for EMsculpt depends on individual goals. During your initial consultation, we’ll recommend a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Our recommended protocol is typically 4-6 treatments spaced 2-7 days apart. We recommend that once patients finish their programs, they continue with either monthly or quarterly treatments to continue improving results.
Can I resume regular activities immediately following EMsculpt?
Immediately following EMsculpt, it is recommended that light exercise only be performed in the treatment area if needed for 24 hours. After that time, you may resume regular exercise.
How long until I see results from EMsculpt?
EMsculpt helps build muscle and target localized areas of fat. Muscle build can start to be seen in as little as 4 weeks, for fat reduction results can start to be seen in as early as 6 weeks and up to 4 months for full results.
What do the EMsculpt treatments feel like?
During the EMsculpt treatment, you will feel intense (not painful) contractions as your muscles are activated with the applicator paddle. The majority of our patients relax and watch Netflix as their treatment progresses. The full duration time is 30-40 minutes, depending on the treatment area selected.
