Does the BBL Hero Facial Hurt?
You may briefly feel a warm or rubber band snapping sensation as the light is being absorbed by the skin. For patient comfort we provide a zimmer chiller (cold air hose) during treatment the patient is in charge of its position and can move wherever necessary throughout treatment for additional comfort.
How many BBL Hero Facial Treatments Do I Need?
You will see results within the first treatment. However, the number of treatments will depend on the severity of your pigment concerns. We recommend 2 – 4 treatments for optimal results.
Are BBL Hero Facial Treatments Safe for All Skin Types?
BBL Hero can safely treat skin types 1 through 4.
How Do I Pre-treat My Skin Prior To My BBL Hero Facial Treatment?
While a full pre-treatment is not necessary to receive treatment, it will be bound in benefits if done a few weeks prior. We recommend pre-treating by refraining from unprotected sun exposure a minimum of 2 weeks prior to treatment and applying a powerful antioxidant product, like ZO Skin Health’s Daily Power Defense, a minimum 2 weeks prior to treatment to entice healthy skin.
Do BBL Hero Facial Treatments Have Downtime?
There is virtually no downtime after BBL Hero treatments as it is a non-invasive and gentle procedure. Some experience mild redness dissipating after 4 – 6 hours. In most cases, you are able to apply make-up, return to work and resume most of your activities immediately.
Are BBL Hero Facial Treatments All the Same?
While we follow aggressive protocols that yield results for our patients, no two BBL Hero treatments are the same. Everybody’s skin is in a different condition, and with every subsequent treatment, you will notice fewer “concerns” to address, and we will be able to focus more on the anti-aging portion of each treatment as the pigment is addressed in earlier treatments.
