Does the Exion RadioFrequency Hurt?
Most patients feel a warming sensation similar to a hot stone massage throughout treatment. Our biggest feedback is that the treatment is relaxing.
How many Exion Radio Frequency Treatments do I need?
The amount of treatments needed for Exion Radiofrequency depends on individual skin health goals. During your initial consultation, we’ll recommend a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. For general skin health and moderate aging concerns we recommend 4-6 treatments and for localized fat deposits and skin laxity concerns we recommend 4-8 treatments.
How long before I can wear makeup again?
After your Exion Radio Frequency treatment, you can expect mild redness and swelling for 2-4 days after treatment, similar to a very mild sunburn. As this treatment is not ablative, makeup can be worn immediately post treatment.
How long until I see results from Exion Radiofrequency?
You’ll notice healthier-looking skin immediately after, but the collagen rebuild phase can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks to start seeing results, for any localized fat treatments results start in as little as 6 weeks up to 4 months for full results.
Can I get Exion Radiofrequency If I have an active breakout?
We do not treat over active breakouts with Radiofrequency. It is best to hold off until the breakout has subsided. However if we are treating in another area from where the breakout is present we can continue treatments.
Can I get Exion Radiofrequency if I have a darker skin tone?
Exion Radiofrequency is a completely colour blind technology allowing us to safely treat all skin tones.
How do I prepare for my Exion Radiofrequency Treatment?
Radiofrequency binds with the water within your molecular structures. To ensure a comfortable and effective treatment clients are required to be fully hydrated prior to treatment. Our recommendation is 4 litres of water a day a minimum of 48 hours leading up to treatment.
